Digital Marketing Coordinator
Commitment: Approx 10-12hrs/week (freelance)
Location: Remote. Note: Candidates MUST be based in the Eastern Timezone (ET) or Central Timezone (CT) equiv. to align with client workflows. Applications from other timezones will not be considered. Fluent English is a must.
Clients: Electronic Music
You will handle day-to-day Account Coordination for two artist clients, provide Label Support for our record label clients, and back-end support for the team. You are responsible for ensuring the machine runs smoothly, tour dates are always accurate, and content reaches every platform.
Core Responsibilities
1. Account Coordination & Comms
Client Comms: Act as a day-to-day point of contact via Email and WhatsApp groups, keeping clients updated and responsive.
Promoter Liaison: Coordinate live event marketing needs with local promoters (asset delivery, ad access requests).
Weekly Internal Meeting: Attend and prepare updates for the weekly agency sync.
2. Touring & Infrastructure
Tour Dates (Roster-Wide): Own the accuracy of tour listings across Bandsintown, Songkick, and Laylo for agency clients. You will be the single source of truth for tour dates.
Direct-to-Fan: Manage Laylo & Cobrand platforms, executing fan blasts and direct messaging campaigns.
Shortlinks: Manage and update link-in-bio platforms (e.g., KOMI) to ensure traffic is driving to the right releases and tickets.
3. Content Operations & Syndication
Syndication: Take approved IG & TikTok content and syndicate it to YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, X (Twitter), and Threads to maximize reach.
YouTube Management: Handle full upload process, including thumbnail optimization, tagging, and descriptions.
4. Reporting & Analysis
Reporting Support: Compile data and support the Digital Lead in building monthly project reports.
The Client Split
For Select Artist Partners: You are the primary coordinator handling the backend, tour dates, and promoter comms.
For Label Clients: You provide execution support to the Digital Lead (syndication, community, reporting).
Who You Are
Music Industry Native: You understand the industry and ecosystems (Promoters, DSPs, Tour Routing).
Detail-Oriented: You check a tour date 3 times before publishing.
Platform Pro: You are comfortable inside Laylo, Bandsintown, YouTube Studio, and Meta Business Suite.
Communicator: You are professional, responsive, and know how to talk to artist teams.
Remuneration: Retainer basis (to be discussed based on experience). Please include your desired monthly rate for the outlined scope in your application.
